Strength Training for Seniors

Did you know there are great benefits to strength training at ages 55 and over? Strengthening your body will help you increase bone density, increase muscle mass, and improve your balance and flexibility. Being able to stay active as we age plays a role in our physical and mental health. The benefits you receive from strength training will help you maintain your overall health, wellness, and independence. Our weekly sessions will include proper warm up and cool down of our bodies, plus body weight and light dumbbell weight strengthening moves. We will cover upper body, lower body, and core exercises. No experience is needed as this class is designed for all levels.
