Child's Play Theatre: Beauty is a Beast (Grades K-12)

Students will develop communication and theatre performance skills as they collaborate to create a production of Beauty Is a Beast. In this playful twist on a classic tale, Beauty is a spoiled princess who is rude to everyone she meets. When her fairy godmother decides it’s time for Beauty to learn an important lesson—that true beauty comes from who we are on the inside, not how we look on the outside—she sends Beauty to live among the poorest people in the kingdom. Through rehearsal and performance, students will explore character development, teamwork, and storytelling while bringing this meaningful story to life.

Auditions are May 27 3:15-5 pm

Rehearsals are June 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 from 8:30 am-12 pm

Performances on June 12 at 1 pm and 6:30 pm

Tickets are sold at the door only.
