Beginning West Coast Swing

Whether it's blues, pop, country, or jazz, West Coast Swing can be danced to almost any song. This is a slower swing dance characterized by its linear patterns and smooth, flowing movements. We will focus on learning basic 6-count patterns and introduce you to the concepts of leverage and compression, which give the dance its signature look.
