Community FTC Robotics Team (Grades 6-12)

Join our hands-on community robotics team and experience the excitement of designing, building, programming, and competing with robots! This program is open to students in 6th through 12th grade who are not enrolled in Owatonna Public Schools and want to be part of a collaborative, competitive robotics team.

As a community-based robotics team, we compete independently and are not affiliated with the Minnesota State High School League. This provides an opportunity for homeschool students, private school students, and other eligible youth to participate in a competitive robotics program in a supportive team environment.

Parent involvement is essential to our success! We are actively seeking parent coaches and volunteers to assist with mentoring students, organizing team activities, coordinating competitions, and supporting the program. No robotics experience is necessary—training and guidance will be provided.

• October 31, 2026: Meet #1 (Byron)
• November 15, 2026: Meet #2 (Owatonna OMS)
• December 13, 2026: Meet #3 (Owatonna OMS)
• Mid-January 2027: Qualifier (Twin Cities)
