Calling all friends who would like a fun, free-spirited, and creative night out! During this evening, you will be shown the variety of ways that clay can be manipulated into useful, decorative, and “gifty” creations. You may try throwing pots on the wheel, hand-building, and/or utilizing clay slabs to make your unique creation come to life. Delve into your imagination, experiment, and have fun! No experience necessary! The pieces that you have created will be bisque fired, glazed with the color of your choosing, and fired a second time. Your pieces are then microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. You may pick up your treasures at the Arts Center 3 weeks after class.

Designed for beginners with no prior German experience, it’s perfect for anyone ready to dive in with curiosity and motivation. Some of the topics we will discuss include greetings, family, friends, shopping, and food. We will meet weekly on Zoom and use the text, Die neue Linie 1 A1.1, alongside Google Classroom. Do you want to advance your German skills beyond German III? Then you should sign up for German Seminar (live, online). In our weekly Zoom sessions, you will share short German texts, read short stories, and watch German films. The German reader is provided.

Together, the group will decide where to place the kindness rocks in the community. This creative class builds confidence, purpose, and connection while making a positive impact.
