Gals Night Out at the OACArtful LivingCalling all friends who would like a fun, free-spirited, and creative night out! During this evening, you will be shown the variety of ways that clay can be manipulated into useful, decorative, and “gifty” creations. You may try throwing pots on the wheel, hand-building, and/or utilizing clay slabs to make your unique creation come to life. Delve into your imagination, experiment, and have fun! No experience necessary! The pieces that you have created will be bisque fired, glazed with the color of your choosing, and fired a second time. Your pieces are then microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. You may pick up your treasures at the Arts Center 3 weeks after class.Spring/Summer 2026 -

Home Alone (Grades 2-8)Youth EnrichmentIs your child ready for the independence of being home alone? Parents need to be sure their children have the skills and maturity to handle the responsibility safely. Whether it is for an hour after school or several hours a day during the summer, being trusted to be home alone can be a positive experience for a child who is mature and well prepared. This class for children will address several topics relating to being “Home Alone” including age guidelines, safe habits, house rules, after school routines, phone calls and door knocks, dog emergencies, personal safety, managing the unexpected, gun safety, severe weather, fire safety, intruders, and first aid tips. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen. Junior Chefs Cook-Along: Mother’s Day Breakfast from Scratch! (Grades 5-12)Youth EnrichmentJust in time for Mother’s Day, kids will whip up a delicious homemade breakfast in this hands-on virtual cooking class! Junior Chefs will learn to make English Muffins and Breakfast Sausage Patties from scratch with guidance from Chef Tess. Along the way, kids will mix, knead, shape, and cook while building real kitchen skills and confidence. With adult supervision (and siblings welcome!), families can enjoy a cozy, creative cooking experience together. By the end of class, participants will proudly serve a heartfelt homemade breakfast—perfect for celebrating Mom or anyone who deserves a little extra love. What to Expect: Ingredient list, prep packet, and Zoom link will be emailed the week of class. Recipes will be shared with registered participants after the session. Equipment: Stand mixer recommended. Notes: Adult supervision required. One registration covers immediate family members in the same household.
