Bring your Minecraft world to life with your own custom art! In Minecraft Game Art Studio, students will transform their love of the game into creative skills by designing player skins, themed texture packs, simple UI icons, and 2D sprites that can be exported and used at home. Along the way, they’ll learn the fundamentals of pixel art—like readability, color palettes, and tiling—while gaining beginner-friendly file skills to make their art usable beyond camp. Celebrate Mother’s Day with movement, connection, and fun! This special youth yoga class invites students to bring a mom, grandma, or another important guardian to share a joyful yoga experience together at VIBES. In this class, youth and their grown-ups will move through a variety of poses, gentle stretches, breathing exercises, and moments of relaxation designed to build trust, laughter, and connection. No prior yoga experience is needed—just come ready to move, breathe, and spend meaningful time together.

Come celebrate nature with your imagination and creativity! Participants will go on a short walk with a Minnesota Naturalist to find inspiration and materials for your art project. Then, back at the nature center, draw on that inspiration and create your work of art! Some potential creations include seed paper, collages using leaves or natural elements, or painting your favorite animal or animal tracks! All materials are provided, but dress to get a little messy!

Meet Ollie Octopus! Ollie is super fun to paint and we will be doing some fun techniques to create the background. This is a fun painting that even our youngest picassos will enjoy creating. Open Climb is a relaxed, supervised climbing time for anyone who has taken a climbing class or wants to try the middle school rock wall for the first time. It’s a great way to “test the waters” before signing up for a full class. Participants can climb at their own pace with help available for safety, basic technique, and encouragement. Bring a photo of your pet and we’ll guide you step-by-step through sketching, mixing colors, and adding those special details that make your pet uniquely adorable. No painting experience needed—just lots of creativity, laughs, and love for your pet. You’ll leave with a finished artwork and a tail-wagging sense of pride!

Ahoy, young explorers! Set sail on a thrilling summer adventure where the seas are endless and the treasure is waiting to be found! In Pirates & Ocean Adventures, campers will become fearless pirates, daring oceanographers, and clever treasure hunters all in one.

Have you ever caught sight of your reflection to see that your head leads the way? Or noticed that your shoulders and upper back are rounded? In this live, online workshop you'll learn simple techniques to improve posture and stand straighter. We'll complete exercises to help flatten the upper back, un-round shoulders and flatten your midsection. Learn how to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and how to re-gain bone mass. We'll also discuss the latest research findings on nutrition, minerals and trace minerals needed for bone health, foods that help and/or harm your bones and more. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. You will need a resistance band for some of the exercises.
